Title I proposes an Early Literacy Grant
After looking at the data and exploring scientifically researched Early Literacy Programs, Title I is proposing an Early Literacy Grant to work with 4 year olds and their parents on phonemic awareness, language and vocabulary skills and letter/sound knowledge.This grant would also enhance early math skills. Title I teachers, Family Literacy Coordinator, and administrators will meet to discuss this proposal next week.

I would love to see some Grant money made available for title I. Perhaps you can purchase some technology tools for the classroom to help with fluency ie..digital voice recorders!
